Sicilian lemon, tangerine and orange open it, with ginger and black pepper adding a dry heat that the original didn't have. It reads as a proper citrus rather than a soapy fresh.. The heart is where it earns the name: sea spray and iodine give it that mineral, just-out-of-the-water quality, softened by mimosa and tiaré, then Cambodian oud, cedar and vetiver root arrive underneath and add weight.
