The beauty price comparison engine for your whole routine.
Built in Hampshire to fix a small everyday annoyance: paying different prices for the same skincare across UK retailers.
What FindMyBasket does
FindMyBasket compares prices on beauty products across the UK's leading retailers, then works out the cheapest way to buy your whole routine. Not just one product. The whole basket.
That second bit is the part everyone else gets wrong. Most price comparison sites tell you who's cheapest on a single moisturiser. FindMyBasket factors in everything you're actually buying, every retailer's delivery threshold, and recommends the smallest number of orders to place to get the lowest total cost.
It's free, no account needed, and works across skincare, makeup, hair and K-Beauty.
Why it exists
The numbers spoke for themselves. The average price gap on the same skincare product across UK retailers is between 40% and 70%. People weren't comparison-shopping because the existing tools were product-level, not basket-level. Buying a four-product routine across four separate retailers to get the cheapest unit price often ended up more expensive than buying everything at the second-cheapest retailer, once delivery thresholds were factored in.
FindMyBasket exists because nobody else was doing whole-basket optimisation including delivery. That's the genuine gap in the market.
How it works
Three steps:
- Build your routine. Search and add the products you use (cleanser, serum, moisturiser, whatever fits your routine).
- We compare live prices. Across all our partner retailers, including delivery thresholds.
- We recommend the best split. Usually 1 or 2 retailers, sometimes more if it genuinely saves you money. You click through and shop.
You can also save your routine and get an email on the 1st of every month with the latest best price across our network, so you only ever buy at the right price, on the right day, from the right shop.
Who built this
FindMyBasket is built and run solo by Robbie Coffin, based in Hampshire. Robbie has a public sector transformation background and builds FindMyBasket in evenings and weekends.
It's not a venture-backed startup or part of a larger group. The platform exists because the problem was annoying enough to be worth fixing, and the technical infrastructure (live datafeeds from major UK retailers, basket optimisation algorithms, automated weekly refreshes) was tractable enough to build alone.
How we make money
FindMyBasket is funded by affiliate commission. When you click through to a partner retailer and buy something, that retailer pays a small commission to FindMyBasket. You pay exactly the same price you would going to the retailer directly. There's no markup, no membership fee, nothing on top.
Importantly, the commission does not affect which retailer we recommend. The "best basket" is genuinely the cheapest option across our partner retailers, not the one paying the highest commission. We say so in our privacy policy and we live by it: if a recommendation engine started gaming itself to push higher-commission retailers, the entire proposition would collapse the moment users noticed.
Who we partner with
Currently live across 9 UK retailers covering skincare, makeup and hair:
- Boots
- Superdrug
- Escentual
- Beauty Bay
- The Organic Pharmacy
- Stylevana

More retailers are being added throughout the year. If you're a brand or retailer interested in partnering, get in touch.
What's on the roadmap
The current focus is on broadening retailer coverage in skincare, makeup and hair. Coming later:
- Supplements: the same basket optimisation approach for wellness products.
- Native app with barcode scanner: scan a product in store, see if it's cheaper online.
